THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Applications Manager, the ERP Systems Administrator (Pronto) position will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our enterprise resource planning infrastructure.  This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the Pronto ERP system while partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements that align with organisational objectives.

 

This is a permanent full-time role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station. Regular travel to our Pilgangoora Operation in the Pilbara region is required for the role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Systems Administrator (Pronto ERP) is responsible for maintaining core business systems, supporting users across all functions, and driving continuous improvement through system enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice processes. The position develops reporting and data solutions, manages system integrations and upgrades, and contributes to key projects and change management activities. Working closely with stakeholders and external support teams, this role enables efficient operations, reliable data, and ongoing optimisation of our ERP system capabilities aligned with organisational goals.

 

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Manage and maintain the Pronto ERP, financial systems, maintenance, inventory management and other key business systems including reporting capabilities
  • Ensure the integrity and day-to-day running of the ERP system, maintaining optimal performance and availability, including maintaining user access and internal controlsTroubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with vendors, contractors and technical support when necessary as well as performing regular system backups, monitoring, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system uptime
  • Forming collaborative relationships across the business to drive continuous improvement.
  • Utilize ITIL Foundations for maintenance of the ERP system

 

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Development

  • Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for optimisation and standardisation and drive continuous improvement strategies to streamline and automate processes where possible
  • Manage system improvements including implementation of new modules and systems, as well as enhancements, upgrades, and customizations to existing systems
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for optimization and standardization

 

User Support, Training & Documentation

  • Provide technical support and guidance to Pronto ERP users with regular education and training support
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge transfer

 

Data Management & Reporting

  • Design and generate custom reports to support business decision-making across all functional areas
  • Manage data imports, exports, and integrations with other business applications

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Significant experience with Pronto ERP system essential
  • Advanced expertise in maintaining and optimising financial systems
  • Proficiency in database management and SQL queries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong report writing skills, with an ability to influence key business decisions
  • Experience in implementing or carrying out system upgrades highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Understand and follow project and change management processes and best practices
  • Exposure to the mining sector highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualified in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
