THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Reporting to the Group Manager Corporate Affairs and working closely with the Site Leadership Team, this role will primarily support the development and delivery of internal communication to the PLS Pilgangoora site based workforce and provide digital content creation and provide design support to the broader Corporate Affairs team.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Head of Operations and Senior Site Leadership Team to develop key messaging and communication to enhance workforce engagement.
  • Manage the development and design of engaging, strategically aligned internal communication material content via a range of tools including presentations, intranet, videos, photos, digital and printed collateral, newsletters, and events.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and departments to foster cross-organisational information sharing and collaboration.
  • Manage content and the Q&A function for the quarterly Town Hall event at Pilgangoora
  • Storyboard, film, and produce video content.
  • Liaise with contractors and other project partners on communications as required.
  • Liaise with graphic designers, printers, and other suppliers as required.
  • Maintain brand integrity across all initiatives and communications.
  • Manage content for the Company’s Facebook and Instagram social media channels
  • Support external communication of the Company’s operation and expansion projects by capturing and producing compelling content for various channels.
  • Represent the Company and its interests at events on site and in the community as required.
  • Monitor and report on the outcomes of communication strategies and techniques to drive continuous improvement.

 

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Pilgangoora Operation located in the Pilbara region and will operates on a 4:3, 4:3, 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO within the Pilbara region.

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • At least 4 years relevant experience
  • Valid WA C-Class Drivers Licence
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories for different audiences.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates initiative and works autonomously with proven ability to take ownership of tasks and projects independently
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement communication plans.
  • Intermediate experience in using Sharepoint CMS
  • Experience managing digital and social platforms
  • Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro or similar.
  • Experience using email marketing software and text messaging services is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience using Sharepoint CMS is preferred but not essential
