This is a 12-month maximum term role which operates on a 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules and detailed work packages to ensure maintenance activities are safely planned, fully scoped and ready for execution.
  • Plan and coordinate shutdown activities, including scope development, task sequencing, resource loading, contractor requirements and material readiness to support safe and efficient delivery.
  • Manage the maintenance backlog in Pronto by raising, prioritising and progressing work orders while maintaining accurate equipment history, task lists and maintenance records.
  • Embed safety into all planned work by identifying hazards, applying risk controls and confirming permits, isolations, tools, materials and competent resources are in place before execution.
  • Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and Supply Chain to align priorities, coordinate labour and contractor resources, and minimise delays to planned work.
  • Monitor schedule compliance, capture execution feedback and support continuous improvement through accurate reporting, quality maintenance data and cost-effective planning practices.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, ideally within mining, chemical processing or another heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience planning shutdowns and using CMMS/EAM systems such as Pronto to manage work orders, schedules, maintenance data and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of safe work planning, including permits, isolations, risk assessments and maintenance compliance within a high-risk operating environment.
  • A collaborative communicator who can build strong working relationships across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and contractor teams.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate resources effectively and deliver accurate, high-quality work packages on time.
  • A relevant trade qualification or maintenance planning certification, along with a current WA C Class Driver’s Licence and full Australian working rights, will be highly regarded.
