The opportunity

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role ensures electrical assets are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, site standards, and operational needs to support production continuity, asset integrity, and workforce safety.

This is a 12-month maximum term role which operates on an 8:6/7:7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation assets
• Fault‑find and troubleshoot plant and control systems
• Complete testing, commissioning and CMMS documentation
• Apply PTW, isolations and LOTO requirements
• Support plant start‑ups, shutdowns and commissioning
• Maintain asset reliability and raise defect work requests
• Comply with WHS, Energy Safety and site standards
• Communicate work status, risks and equipment condition
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team capability

About you

• WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance in processing or industrial environments
• Strong fault‑finding, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Solid understanding of PTW, isolations, LOTO and electrical safety legislation
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical documentation
• Comfortable working in a safety‑critical, remote FIFO/DIDO environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach
• Committed to continuous improvement, reliability and quality outcomes
