The opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager Operations this role will provide general administration support, event planning and calendar management, along with stakeholder management, drafting and distributing site communications and monthly reconciliation and reporting activities.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Pilgangoora Operation in the Pilbara region, which operates on a 4:3 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager Operations and Site Leadership Team (SLT)
• Calendar management, scheduling appointments, events and time for visitor meet & greets
• Plan and schedule key events
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on various matters/deadlines and to ensure requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner
• Email management, monitoring emails, responding as required, filing
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all administration matters
• Draft, prepare and distribute site communications
• General administration
• Monthly credit card reconciliation and submission of expense claims
• Provide support in collaborating periodic reports
• Procurement activities including raising purchase requisitions, receipting and invoice reconciliation in Pronto.
• Custodian of the Pilgangoora appointed persons and competent persons register.
• Co-ordinate tasks for the SLT and collate inputs to prepare summarized presentations
• Track key SLT actions

About you

• Current WA Drivers Licence (C Class minimum)
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a mining operational environment
• Exceptional administration, planning and time management skills
• Experience and knowledge of Pronto and INX highly regarded
• Certificate III in administration or higher highly regarded
• Strong commitment to safety and the environment
• A strong customer service approach
