We’re a great Australian success story, having rapidly grown to become a major player in the global lithium market. Our Pilgangoora Operation is one of the largest, hard-rock lithium operations in the world.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting into the NPI Supervisor the primary purpose of the NPI Operator is to execute works associated with general repairs and maintenance around all non-processing infrastructure i.e. camps accommodation, site offices and utilities.
This is a permanent full-time position which operates on a FIFO 8:6 roster of dayshift from Perth
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete of daily maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the NPI Supervisor.
- Knowledge and/or experience with seasonal gardening requirements, retic repairs, lawn care and minor building maintenance.
- Execute maintenance work associated with all non-processing infrastructure i.e.: camp accommodation, bore/pumps associated with the bore fields.
- Ensure all work orders are completed properly to a consistent high quality in PRONTO.
- Ensure work areas under your control undergo daily documented safety inspections and where hazards are identified ensure they are appropriately managed.
- Ensure risk management practices are effectively and consistently applied for all work activities.
- Ensure your own safety and health at work and that of your work mates and in respect to safety always follow instructions given by your employer.
- Become familiar with and comply to safety policies and procedures.
- Report all hazards and incidents on occurrence and never walk past an unsafe act or condition.
- Participate with your work teams to improve and sustain a positive safety culture across the organisation.
ABOUT YOU:
- WA C class driver’s license
- Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to the processes.
- Systematic planning skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
DESIRABLE:
- Current proficiency in Providing First Aid.
- High Risk licences highly desirable (Forklift, Hiab, Confined space).
- HR / MR licence
- PRONTO Experience
