THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Our brand-new fleet of CAT 785 NextGen Haul Trucks have just started arriving on site so we’re now looking for more motivated Dump Truck Operators to join our growing team.

As a valued member of our Production Mining team, and reporting to the Mining Production Supervisor, you’ll be operating Dump Trucks in a hard rock production mining environment, working collaboratively towards delivering targeted production outcomes in a safe and efficient manner.

These are newly-created, permanent positions, direct with PLS on an 8/6 7/7 roster based at our Pilgangoora Operation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating Dump Trucks in a hard rock open pit mining environment.
• Conducting pre-start safety checks on mobile mining equipment.
• Reporting any hazards and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Working collaboratively with a can-do attitude, following industry best practices.
• Actively contributing to a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
• Assisting with other tasks and operating other machinery as required.

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience operating Heavy Surface Mining equipment, ideally CAT 785 or larger mechanical-drive Dump Trucks in a hard rock production mining environment.
• Operating exposure on Ancillary Mobile Mining equipment highly regarded.
• A flexible approach to work and helping others, including operating other machinery and regular hot seating activities.
• A strong focus on safety and best practices within the mining industry.
• The ability to work 12.5-hour shifts, including nights.
• A current WA Driver’s licence: HR preferred.
• You enjoy being part of a collaborative team and you’re passionate about achieving goals together.
