THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, this role will be undertaking a range of document control activities in accordance with established company processes and procedures and play a key role in supporting the Company’s growth profile and project diversification and ensuring compliance across multiple project and company departments.
This is a permanent full-time role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, workflow, and distribute all incoming and outgoing data in accordance with established procedures.
- Generate transmittals
- Assist in the collation and distribution of tenders and RFQ’s within the tender module
- provide progress reporting
- Expedite the review and approval of documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to collect, review, and update related documents.
- Ensure ongoing education and training of the Document Management System to personnel
- Assist wider team members with system issues, document formation and other process requirements.
- Ensure all document management standards and best practices are followed
- Engagement with vendors, fabricators, and contractors
ABOUT YOU:
- 2-5 years experience in a document control role
- Previous experience with cloud-based project document management systems, Aconex experience an advantage.
- Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, advance Excel and Word knowledge advantageous
- Ability to work across numerous tasks and maintain a high standard
- High level attention to detail
- An understanding of the construction and mining industry
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- You enjoy a varied workload, have strong time management skills and enjoy liaising with a wide variety of people.
